Storytelling
"There have been great societies that did not use
the wheel, but there have been no societies that did not tell stories."
Ursula K. LeGuin
Nell's stories are told (not read!) - this is sometimes called traditional
storytelling. The stories are retold to create a rich and sociable event, retaining the
traditional spirit and tone of the tale.
Storytelling is an entertainment, a shared experience and a spur to the
imagination. Through myths, folktales, legends, epics and fairytales we find a means to a
deeper understanding of each other and ourselves.
