Often as storytellers we chose stories instinctively,  trust our guts to help us with the structure and rhythm of a story, and

rely on charisma to connect with our audiences.  What do we do when we want to challenge our choices, a received understanding of a story

or how we relate to listeners?

cropped Chwedl logo Through  Storytelling with Archetypes we can refresh our understanding of well-known repertoire, unwrap new stories and develop our own versatile storytelling       voice. The work is physical, vocal and playful - even via Zoom!

We will work in an encouraging and supportive atmosphere - and be challenged in our practice.

Participants will need a good grasp of the English language, some storytelling experience and an open and curious mind.

Nell Also Says:

I have developed Storytelling with Archetypes  over years of my own performance, storytelling and training work. I have used it as an inspiration for story work with young students, aspiring and professional storytellers. It is rooted in the work I did with John Wright and Frankie Armstrong nearly 30 years ago when I was working in physical and masked theatre.

I have taught ten week courses in London, and day and half-day introductions in Sweden, Belgium and The Netherlands. This is nourishing work for experienced storytellers.
